Alocasia

AKA:  Elephant Ear

LIGHT:  I enjoy bright, indirect light with some direct sun and some shade.

WATER:  I prefer my soil to dry out partially but not all the way between watering.  I can be a fickle pickle so filtered or distilled water is best.

HUMIDITY:  I adore humidity.  Please mist me or place me on a water pebble tray for a real treat.

UNIQUE TRAITS:  It isn’t uncommon for me to only have 2 or 3 leaves while I’m maturing.  I’m also known for dropping a leaf as a new one unfurls.  Sometimes I go dormant in the winter but don’t give up on me.  I’ll be back in the spring!
